MCG Signature Range – Taste the 1853 Gin
MCG recently partnered with Melbourne based Mountain Goat to produce a signature gin. The catalyst for this unique Mountain Goat x MCG collaboration would come on a quintessential summer afternoon in Melbourne; cricket commentary becoming white noise as MCG Grounds person, Nick, and brother-in-law and Mountain Goat Distiller, Brad, mused – what if we could make a spirit that celebrated the MCG’s hallowed turf.
Inspired by the aromas of expertly mown grass and the native botanicals of surrounding Yarra Park, 1853 is a herbaceous, vibrant and aromatic gin that captures the essence of this special place of connection in every sip.
Join us for an ‘1853 Gin’ and Tonic at the stand on Wednesday 21st from 3pm.
Meet Naman Kochhar – MCG renowned Indian chef
“This is the best Indian food I’ve eaten outside India” is very often the honest feedback Naman receives from our International incentive audience. Naman, who is originally from Amritsar, Punjab understand how to best cater for our growing Indian market, elevating their culinary expectations to match their awe-inspiring MCG visit.

Coming to the MCG in 2024 ‘Dinner in the Sky’
Working with ‘Dinner in the Sky’ the bespoke table is elevated over 35 meters into the air, taking in the Melbourne CBD skyline, and looking out across the Yarra Park and Melbourne Sports and Entertainment precinct. With views stretching across the home of the Australian Open through to the Botanical Gardens.

Progressive Dining and Culinary Centre immersion
We have always encouraged as much movement throughout the stadium as possible, so event attendees can experience more of the spaces beyond the boundary. Our culinary center immersion, and progressive dining concepts allow guests to access areas throughout the Members Reserve and see more of the rich heritage and history of the MCG and the Melbourne Cricket Club.

Our food philosophy is ‘Victoria’s best, flavored by Melbourne’. Overseen by Executive Chef Dyaln Sanding, our army of international and local chefs deliver a range of cuisine, with a menu collection in excess of over 100 menu items. We create menu experiences, that draw on the backgrounds and cultures of our team whilst using produce from our exceptional Victorian regions.
