MCG Events are excited to be bringing sky high dining to the MCG in 2024 as we literally elevate event experiences to new heights. This new to Melbourne, dining concept is now available to book through MCG Events as a brand activation, or as a flight throughout scheduled operating periods.
Working with ‘Dinner in the Sky’ the bespoke table is elevated over 35 meters into the air, taking in the Melbourne CBD skyline, and looking out across the Yarra Park and Melbourne Sports and Entertainment precinct. With views stretching across the home of the Australian Open through to the Botanical Gardens.

The buzz of Dinner in the Sky starts well before guests arrive. Often they’ll see the table in the distance, but we’ll provide you with professional renders to help build anticipation with the invites well before day one. The experience is high profile – it attracts media attention and captivates the eyes and admiration of everyone passing by.
The table, with a central service platform, is surrounded by 22 seats that recline and turn allowing guests to feel the freedom of unparalleled views above a special location of your choice.
Guests are elevated to a height of up to 50m above ground for a flight they’ll talk about for years to come!
