We’ve made your planning process seamless with this guided tool kit to organise your successful event at the ‘G. This page outlines the information required, answers questions that regularly arise, and provides the links to important forms, menus, suppliers, and stadium access information.

We’ve also outlined the key deadlines for your event details, including your menu selections, table allocations, and final guest numbers.

Key dates in your planning process

30 – 90 prior to your event
Organise a details meeting with your allocated Event Manager. This catch up can occur in person, or virtually, to discuss the details on your event, and answer your questions. We’ve included a link below to help you have everything you need ahead of this details meeting.

14 days prior to your event
Your final menu selections are due, and the allergy requirements from your guests. Any menu selections or alternations after this date will incur a 20% surcharge.

7 days prior to your event
Your final details are required, including guest numbers, timings, and supplier details. You will also be required to sign off an approve your Event Order details, and floor plan outlining your set up requirements. Any reduction in numbers after 7 days will no longer be permitted, and any changes to your floor plan and set up will incur an additional ‘Set up Fee’.

3 day prior to your event
Your attendee list must be submitted. Any increase to your numbers must be provided. Should you wish to increase numbers after this deadline, additional guests will incur a 20% surcharge.

Conference Concierge

Similar to a hotel, we offer a concierge service for conferences with 200 + delegates. So your guests can have an extra level of personalised service. Ask us about adding a Conference Concierge to your event.

Scoreboard and LEDs ribbons

You can access the visual display across the MCG stadium, including the scoreboards and LED ribbons that surround the ground. Bookings are required, and you will need to ensure that your content fits the required specifications. More than three million people visit the MCG each year. There are a variety of ways to reach out famous stadium.

Parking

  • Federation Square – Corner of Flinders & Swanston St
  • City Square – 202-208 Flinders Lane
  • Melbourne & Olympic Parks – Entrance D off Olympic Boulevard
  • Metered Parking – Available on Jolimont St, Jolimont Tce, Clarendon St
  • MCG Parking – Available for limited numbers, and must be pre-arranged. Entrance A off Brunton Avenue.

Ride share / Taxi

  • Ask to be dropped at the corner of Jolimont Street & Jolimont Terrace

Tram

  • Wellington Parade – Exit station, walk through the park towards the MCG
  • Olympic Park – Disembark at Rod Laver, walk up the ramp to footbridge to the MCG

Train

  • Richmond Station – Exit station, cross Punt Rd, walk towards the MCG via Brunton Ave
  • Jolimont Station – Exit station, walk 120 meters through Yarra Park to the MCG
